In Florida we like seasons too… We just don’t happen to get all four of them. So when everyone else is pulling out the sweaters and boots, we’re pulling out knit crop tops and still sweating profusely. We don’t want to be left out… So we do “fall” the only way we know how to in an endless summer…with color!
Dresses are my favorite just in general because I love how flowy and comfortable they are! So when dressing for fall here in Florida, I take advantage of that breeze you get with a dress but go for a longer cut and maybe slightly thicker material. My color OBSESSION this fall is olive. Not only does it match my eyes, but it also goes with literally any other color, and looks great on all skin tones. I can’t get enough of it. Hence the olive chunky heel in the photos above. Ob.Sessed.
I happened to be feeling dramatic the morning of this shoot and went for a very bright red lip, but I also love a subdued maroon for this time of year. You can’t go wrong with it…it’s the perfect subtle pop of color and compliments your Trader Joe’s pumpkins so well! What… I told you it’s still summer here…the pumpkin patch is not an option.
What is your fall color obsession? Anyone feeling me on the olive?

So I’ve got a little fashion talk comin’ at ya regarding a few of my favorite new wardrobe additions… And they are from a boutique I just discovered called Vici. Y’all, they have SUPER cute stuff…but since it was my first time ordering, I figured I would just try one or two things. Sadly now, I’m addicted. Alex if you’re reading this…just don’t. Turn back now or forever hold your peace. Please?
So the two pieces I felt I could not live without were the gorgeous shoes and bag featured above. I’ve been eyeing the stud style for quite some time now…but add the chunky heel…oh man, I’m done! But really, how could I say no? I’ve also been needing a bag that fits my nice camera, and this blue shade and stitching just stole my heart. Was love at first sight. I had to have it.
And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I’m am LOVING these items so far. You know what I like even more? THE PRICE. It is so hard to find so many items in one place that are both affordable, and adorable. Now that’s what I’m talking about.
So thank you, and curse you, Vici… Because I am now a slave to your website… Scoping and prioritizing my favorite pieces, and fitting them into my tiny budget. Y’all don’t act like I’m alone here… I really hope Alex stopped reading at the top.
What is your go-to for fashion on a budget? Preferably online so we can all join the fun! Until next time fashion lovers…
