The Strappy Black Heel

And Foundation Coffee Co.

One item you need as much as the LBD is the strappy black heel. It is quite literally one of the most versatile items in my closet. Whether dressing up in a cocktail dress, or a little more casual (as seen above), this timeless shoe is the perfect staple.

Now, it seems like this heel would be easy to come by…but I actually had a bit of trouble on my search. I’m partial to the chunky heel because a) I feel it’s more comfortable and b) it styles down real well…both just my personal opinion. So, I held out and held out until I finally found one I really loved (that was also affordable – #ballinonabudget) and go figure! it ended up being from Vici Collection.

I love the suede material, and the way the heel narrows out towards the bottom. I just feel it gives it a little unqiueness, while still being something I can wear over and over again (#outfitrepeater). And since I wear gold jewelry almost every day, I love that the clasp is gold as well.

Paired with jeans, this simple black tank, and a long cardigan, this is the perfect, semi-casual, weekender look as we transition from winter to spring.

J’adore Louis Jadot

When I was offered a collaboration with Maison Louis Jadot, I basically shouted “YES!” into the computer screen… I’m sorry, did you say you want me to drink wine? I would never say no to that. Needless to say, I had high expectations upon receiving this lovely bottle of Chablis, and y’all…it did not disappoint.

I kid you not, I am drinking it as I type. I cannot get enough. Made of 100% Chardonnay grapes, it is light, sweet, and refreshing, with a very subtle after taste. It goes down easy if you’re new to wine, and is a treat for the more experienced taste buds. And y’all, this is just the beginning! There are SO many more bottles to try!

Am I the only one always eager for wine recommendations? Check out this post on New Kent Winery, or this one on Bartaco (home of my favorite sangria). And try Louis Jadot if you haven’t already! Let us all share in the wine festivities!

Cheers!

Kylie
