Let me tell you ’bout my best friend! Yes, I would go as far as to call these ice cream desserts my best friend (sorry, Alex) because they are saving my health, and my sanity! Now if that isn’t the ultimate double whammy, what is?!
I am an ice cream addict. There, I said it. I really, really, like ice cream…maybe even an abnormal amount. I am someone who on average kills a half a pint every other night… That is NOT okay, y’all! But I can’t stop myself. Chocolate heals my soul and there’s just something about it in that frozen form…it’s a serious love affair.
But I’m starting to realize lately, like, that’s not healthy. Let’s just say I’ve been the victim of a few friendly interventions in regards to my problem. So when Arctic Zero asked me to collab with them (and I had truly heard a lot of good things) I thought it might be time for me to try to kick this addiction.
I entered into this trial weary, but optimistic…and boy was I pleasantly surprised.
I will not begin to tell you it tastes just like your favorite Ben & Jerry’s. It doesn’t. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad! I actually really like it! Envision an ice cream that’s a little less creamy, and a little more ice. That’s really the main difference.
I told you, I’m a chocolate lover. So I went where my heart always takes me and got plain chocolate. And y’all, it kicked my craving! It did everything that the calorie-filled ice cream does for me but I didn’t have to feel guilty about it! It’s honestly the most glorious thing. I can munch on it as much as I want and I don’t have to regret a single spoonful… Thank you so much, Arctic Zero.
It pains me to say this, but goodbye Ben & Jerry’s! Goodbye Haagen-Dazs! Goodbye Breyers! There’s a new dessert in my freezer…one that has my health in mind!
Long story short(ish), I highly recommend. Especially for all you ice cream lovers that know you need to make a change. The time is now! And it’s far less painful than you think. Join me on this health journey without the huge sacrifice!
