Hi, I’m Kylie! I’m an Army brat turned Tampa resident, with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Currently working for a Custom Home Builder, while trying to conquer adulthood (25 can be hard…). I love design (clearly), fashion, travel, the beach, and yoga…but above all, I love Jesus!
I live in a South Tampa condo on the water with two pretty cool guys…my fiancé (Alex), and our Rottweiler (Sebastian). Our life is nowhere near perfect, but I love it that way. And to be honest, that imperfection, and the great Lord above, are what inspired this blog.
In the last few years I’ve begun to really cling to the fact that the “messy” and “imperfect” are what make life truly beautiful. As women we put so much pressure on ourselves to fulfill a certain image. We have this single perception of the meaning of attractive, or successful; the list goes on and on. But I am here to tell you (and myself) that we are not defined by the way we look or the items we possess. We are SO much more than that.
You should know that you were created with a purpose that is 100% unique to you. That your journey may be nothing like that of your friends, family, or co-workers, and that’s ok! That’s actually amazing! To think that every day as you embrace exactly who YOU are, you are becoming more and more of the woman God created you to be. And to top it all off, you are on your way to fulfilling His great purpose for your life. I don’t know about you, but I find peace in that.
I’m sorry, I digress. But isn’t that topic so exciting??
Speaking of purpose…back to the blog. Coffee with Kylie is my way of holding myself accountable. I vow to constantly see the beauty in life; in a messy home, or a bad hair day, or an awkward moment (or many), you name it. I vow to use this platform to not only promote positivity, but to inspire y’all by sharing what inspires me!
“But how will you do this?,” you may ask…to me it’s fairly simple. By embracing the fact that from fashion, to home decor, I #ballonabudget (seriously, this is my motto, #noshame). By accepting that I am not the best yogi…but I LOVE it, and it makes me feel great, and I know I’ll get better! By recognizing that I’m a sinner and in no way perfect, but boy do I love Jesus, and my heart is more than enough for Him!
So I ask you sincerely…will you come on this journey with me? Will you hold me accountable and inspire me too? I can’t wait to see the beauty in the world through your eyes.
