How To Give Mama the BEST Mother’s Day || Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Yes, that beautiful woman is my mother. No, this is not a joke.

My mom is literally my world…and I know some of y’all can relate. In my eyes, she is the most loving, beautiful, and strongest woman I will ever know. There is nothing I can do to fully thank her for who she is and all she has done, but for the rest of my life I am going to try. Below are a few gift ideas to help you love on your mama on Mother’s Day.

Pamper Her

One of my favorite things to do for my mama is pamper her. Let’s be real…this woman has given you EVERYTHING. She has put her needs aside time and time again to make sure your wants are met. This is your chance to make up for her lost time. Allow your mama to pamper herself, on you! Pampering recommendations include:

  • Massage
  • Facial
  • Mani/Pedi
  • Cut/Color

Spoil Her

I love to buy my mama beauty products, as what girl doesn’t like beauty?! I want her to feel as pretty as she is! You can’t go wrong with these ideas:

Treat Her

No matter what diet my mom is attempting at the time (LOL) I know there are a few things she can’t turn down… Below are her favs to inspire you!

Thank Her

Sometimes, the sweetest gift is not a material item, but a simple “thank you.” Gifts like the following mean the world to my mom, and may tug on your mama’s heart strings too.

  • A handwritten letter
  • A thoughtful card
  • A bouquet of her favorite flowers
  • Frame a photo (or a few) / make a collage

DIY

My sister and I like to think we’re the Queens of DIY…but the fact of the matter is that’s just not true. However, that doesn’t stop us from a good attempt every once in a while. Here are a few DIY things I’m loving right now (and your mama will too):

Now that you’ve got some ideas, you better get to stepping! Mother’s Day is just over a week away…can you believe it? I would love to see/hear what y’all end up gifting. Let me know in the comments below!

Arctic Zero Ice Cream & Fit Frozen Desserts

Let me tell you ’bout my best friend! Yes, I would go as far as to call these ice cream desserts my best friend (sorry, Alex) because they are saving my health, and my sanity! Now if that isn’t the ultimate double whammy, what is?!

I am an ice cream addict. There, I said it. I really, really, like ice cream…maybe even an abnormal amount. I am someone who on average kills a half a pint every other night… That is NOT okay, y’all! But I can’t stop myself. Chocolate heals my soul and there’s just something about it in that frozen form…it’s a serious love affair.

But I’m starting to realize lately, like, that’s not healthy. Let’s just say I’ve been the victim of a few friendly interventions in regards to my problem. So when Arctic Zero asked me to collab with them (and I had truly heard a lot of good things) I thought it might be time for me to try to kick this addiction.

I entered into this trial weary, but optimistic…and boy was I pleasantly surprised.

I will not begin to tell you it tastes just like your favorite Ben & Jerry’s. It doesn’t. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad! I actually really like it! Envision an ice cream that’s a little less creamy, and a little more ice. That’s really the main difference.

I told you, I’m a chocolate lover. So I went where my heart always takes me and got plain chocolate. And y’all, it kicked my craving! It did everything that the calorie-filled ice cream does for me but I didn’t have to feel guilty about it! It’s honestly the most glorious thing. I can munch on it as much as I want and I don’t have to regret a single spoonful… Thank you so much, Arctic Zero.

It pains me to say this, but goodbye Ben & Jerry’s! Goodbye Haagen-Dazs! Goodbye Breyers! There’s a new dessert in my freezer…one that has my health in mind!

Long story short(ish), I highly recommend. Especially for all you ice cream lovers that know you need to make a change. The time is now! And it’s far less painful than you think. Join me on this health journey without the huge sacrifice!
