A Final Fall Look || The Olive Suede Skirt

I just had to get one more fall-ish blog post up before it really turns into Spring/Summer ’round here!! But since we are already a little toasty in Florida, I thought it a perfect opportunity to style this gorgeous olive suede skirt. The color and material says “Fall” but the length says “I’m sweating.” Because that’s how Floridians approach every season in regards to fashion…with the textures, tones and inclined body temperate in mind.

However, for those of you just entering the warmer (or should I say “less cold”) weather, I hope this will be the perfect outfit inspiration! I love this look for drinks with friends, or a fancy date night with bae… I’ll truly take any excuse to get out of my everyday leggings! That satin top and red lip give off a really chic vibe, and my secondhand Louis makes me forget (for an instant) that I’m a penny pincher. Because I am all about looking the part without breaking the bank. Am I right, ladies?!

Thank you so much for reading, and I’ll talk to y’all soon!

Sweetfields Farm

So, remember my fall bucket list? You know, the one I just posted about last week? I decided to kick it off this past weekend. ALL WEEKEND LONG. We went to Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens (I think that counts as a haunted house), did a little fall decorating, and had a scary movie marathon. But I think my favorite part of the weekend was our day at the pumpkin patch/corn maze…AKA Sweetfields Farm!

It was a semi-toasty Florida day (aren’t they all?) but that didn’t slow us down! We got to pet goats, play silly farm games, eat BBQ and drink apple cider…as well as conquer a really long corn maze (and by conquer I mean exit early because the wind was blocked and we were sweating profusely). We even left with three perfect pumpkins, including a teeny tiny one for our giant dog!…because no matter his size, he’s still the baby. Can I get an “Amen!” fellow fur mamas?

The farm was packed with so much to do that we weren’t even able to complete it all! I feel inclined to mention the hay ride, as well as the potato launcher… Seriously so many fun Fall activities!

Next year I’m hoping to make it back so that we can partake in what we couldn’t this time, and spend some more time with the rest of the farm animals! Do y’all have any pumpkin patch recommendations? In the Tampa Bay area and beyond?

In the words of my extremely witty boyfriend… #SquashGoals.
