Fall Bucket List

Hello friends, and happy Fall! As I write I am wearing a sweater, sipping warm coffee, and delighting myself in the aromas of a pumpkin pie candle. That’s right, I made sure I was in the ZONE as I bring to you my personal bucket list for Fall. I feel like every year I have huge intentions of taking part in lots of Fall festivities, only to find that the days fly by and I never get to most of them. Well this year is going to be different, I tell you! Which is why I did some research, and actually wrote out a bucket list (in my iPhone notes but same dif) and even began scheduling all of these fun events! And to think I have to knock this all out before the New Year… Wish me luck!

  • Go to a Halloween Party
  • Backyard bonfire with smores
  • Take a trip to the pumpkin patch
  • Conquer a corn maze
  • Take a hay ride
  • Go to a haunted house
  • Watch an ABC Family (Freeform?) Halloween marathon
  • Take a morning walk
  • Carve or paint a pumpkin
  • Drink apple cider
  • Wear dark nail polish
  • Bake pumpkin bread
  • Visit a street fair/market
  • Drink a PSL
  • Snuggle and watch old movies
  • Plan a hike (if I can find a place to hike in FL)
  • Go on a nature walk
  • Roast pumpkin seeds
  • Burn fall candles
  • Go on a bike ride
  • Knit a scarf

Y’all, don’t let another year go by that you don’t enjoy life to the fullest… Create your own bucket list, and make this your most memorable Fall season yet! Oh, and share with me what you plan to do…just in case I have some idle time in the midst of all my Fall adventures.

Wishing you the coziest, happiest, and snuggliest of Falls.

Subtle Statements

If you follow along on Instagram (@coffeewithkylie) you know that the first week in October I was in a beautiful farm wedding in a small town in Iowa. Now the bride just so happens to be a creative mind like myself, and boy did she hook us up in the bridesmaid department. We wore dark grey dresses and silver accessories, including our own choice of a statement necklace! The wedding was BEAUTIFUL (recap to come) and so was the love and friendship at that. But I’ll stop there and save the sappiness for later, because this post is about my wedding necklace and shoes!

I felt so pretty and sparkly that night, that it only took me a week to restyle these accessories. I took them from elegant fall wedding, to Florida casual, and can’t wait to wear them again and again! See, it’s all about versatility, y’all. I know I’m not the only one that’s pinching pennies… So when you need/want to do a little style shopping, you also want to get the biggest bang for your buck. Buy things that can be dressed up or down, worn in multiple seasons, on multiple occasions. You’ll feel much better about the purchase (trust me) and in the long run it’ll be much gentler on your wallet.

I mean, can you imagine all the ways I can wear these two pieces? The possibilities are seriously endless. Shout out to the bride for hooking us up, and giving me an excuse to add to my wardrobe!

Just call me the budget-conscious fashion fanatic.
